Jeff Dewing left school at sixteen and worked his way up the ranks as an engineer, later establishing his own successful business, EAC. Unfortunately, the distraction caused by his investment in a Football Club led to the business’s bankruptcy. This taught him a crucial lesson: if you’re not passionate about what you’re doing, get out of it fast before it costs you. Aged 39, he was bankrupt. In a matter of months, he saw his life collapse, from owning a multi-million-pound business and a football club to claiming benefits.

JEFF DEWING – FOUNDER: CLOUD
Undeterred by bankruptcy, Jeff realised he had much to learn and returned to the working world for the next ten years. He had turned his life around and started Cloud in 2011 from his garden shed. Cloud is projected to be valued at £250M by 2026.
Jeff believes leaders must let go to grow.
He acknowledges that mistakes are inevitable, having lived through them himself, but instead of hindering success, they fuelled his growth. Building a business around his passion, he now wakes up every day feeling as if he doesn’t work a day in his life.
