Peter Komolafe admits he had a complicated childhood; he was fostered until he was eight, at which point he went to Nigeria for a two-week holiday, only to stay there for another 10 years. He returned home at 18 with a desire to study medicine, but due to personal money problems, he found himself unable to pursue this dream, out on the streets and spiralling further into debt.

This combination of challenging experiences made Peter want to help others in similar situations. Since qualifying as a financial expert, Peter has worked for several financial institutions in a range of positions including at Nationwide Building Society, Royal Bank of Scotland, St James’s Place Wealth Management and Investec Wealth and Investment UK.
