This led to writing for a magazine before she joined Sky News as a Digital Producer. Here, she delivered multi-platform breaking news coverage from the heart of the Sky News operation. She also pitched, designed, and created innovative digital content for a range of audiences.
By 2016, Charlotte worked as a producer and presenter for the BBC’s Digital Nation. She led a nationwide team of journalists and technical staff to achieve rigorous editorial standards.

Between 2014 and 2017, Charlotte launched 12 regional news channels across the UK from scratch. She presented and produced 3.5 hours of daily live news programmes and self-shot and edited daily news packages on the widest range of local and regional news stories. Starting with a team of less than five people, Charlotte grew the operation to 50 people. She coordinated coverage of two general elections and other major UK news events.
