Yasin Kasirga is a visionary energy executive currently architecting decarbonisation business across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. With 20 years of multi-national leadership experience, he orchestrates strategic collaborations to deliver high-impact Net Zero pathways, balancing the ‘Energy Trilemma’ of affordability, reliability, and sustainability.
His leadership experience spans the full spectrum of energy transition technologies, from renewables to low/no carbon fuels to pioneering point source carbon capture and Direct Act Capture solutions. In 2023, his expertise was leveraged on the global diplomatic stage as a Senior Energy Advisor for the COP28 Presidency. During his tenure at the Office of the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change, he contributed to the historic “Tripling Renewable Energy and Doubling Energy Efficiency” pledge and helped coordinate the seminal report “Tripling Renewable Power and Doubling Energy Efficiency by 2030”.
Yasin holds an Executive MBA and Bachelor degree in both Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the Middle East Tecnica university and Anadolu University. He is also a graduate of GE’s premier leadership development program (XLP) and a graduate of FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program of Dubai Future Academy under Dubai Future Foundation. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School Online, where he completed the Entrepreneurship Essentials certificate program in 2021.
Yasin is actively involved in mentorship programs, collaborating with Masdar’s Youth4Sustainability and Injaz UAE programs, empowering youth and fostering comprehensive personal and professional growth of young people in the sustainability sector.
He has served as Sustainability Committee Leader for Turkish Business Council Dubai and Northern Emirates, Sustainability Committee Member for International Women Board of Directors (IWBD).
As a sustainability and climate champion, he leads carbon solutions business across the region, helping industry and power producers chat a credible path to net zero.
