Christian rose to fame when he began observing social media habits of viewers of reality TV. Speaking about his findings on Twitter, he got himself a weekly spot on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side to discuss his research and present his conclusions to the millions of viewers.
His long list of achievements include building the solution that joined digital data with existing customer and transactional data, enabling contextually-driven customer service; making analytics data available to buyers and merchandisers; providing customer insight about products sold and requested; and using paid social advertising as a testing platform for a large Telco.
His expertise has since been picked up by producers of BB1’s National Lottery show, ITV’s This Morning, and Good Morning Britain, BT Sport Live, BT Sports Panel, and The Clare Balding Show.
Christian now uses his niche skills in a corporate setting, helping production companies to develop ideas and formats around integrating social data into programmes, and actively bringing new series to air that merge modern data with traditional genres.
He has also used his vast amount of social media data to accurately predict the results of the 2015 General Election, 2016 Brexit vote, 2017 Dutch election, and the 2017 US presidential election.
