Sally Bundock is a globally recognised news presenter, known best for being on BBC 1, BBC News Channel, and BBC World News.
Covering news, business, finance, and current affairs, Sally’s programmes are watched by a daily audience of more than 100 million around the world.
Sally has presented The Briefing, Business Today, and BBC’s flagship business programme Work Life, where she covers key business stories and interviews some of the world’s leading CEOs.
Sally Bundock has been covering business news since the mid-1990s when she worked for Bloomberg. Since then, she has covered events including the G7 conferences, World Economic Forums, and EU Summits.
In 2002, she joined World Business Report, offering a blend of news, business, and support to the global business community. Then in 2007 she moved to The World Today. She now works at the BBC as a world news presenter, and since 2017 she has been the solo anchor of the breakfast slot aimed at European, Middle Eastern, and African audiences.
In the past she has also presented World News Today: Business Edition, which later became Business Live in 2015, and Worklife in 2019. With World Business Report ending in May 2024, Bundock became a main presenter on Business Today.

She has also worked extensively in radio including presenting Wake Up To Money on BBC Radio 5 Live and presenting the business news on Drive Time with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2.
She has also covered the business news on BBC One’s Breakfast. Previously, Sally was named as one of the UK’s 50 most powerful part-timers on the third annual Power Part Time List compiled by both Timewise and The Financial Times. Sally is now working with Timewise as part of the judging panel.
As a widow with three active sons, Sally is a strong advocate for successful work-life balance and mental wellbeing.
