Winston Ben Clements was predicated to live a life of isolation and pain. He was born with a condition known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta which stunted his growth and caused his bones to be extremely fragile. He had fractured more than 200 bones by the time has was 12, is just over 3 feet tall and uses a wheelchair for mobility.

Despite this, Winston had created a life that knows no excuses and no limits. Winston’s early years were particularly tough. Not only did he have to deal with the typical challenges that come with school and adolescence, he also struggled with loneliness and frustration that his body couldn’t do what other children could do. This often led him to wonder “what is the point of it all?” Despite this, Winston considers himself to be one of the lucky ones as a significant number of people with OI don’t make it beyond childhood.

After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Winston Ben Clements spent the best part of a decade working in the technology industry before moving into motivational speaking. He is now a popular, award-winning speaker, whose powerful message continues to inspire audiences worldwide to break through their own self-imposed barriers.
